III. International Opera & Zarzuela Competition

The final will take place at the VICTORIA EUGENIA THEATER in San Sebastian (Spain) on 13th July at 19:30.

No age limit

It is one of the few competitions that has no age limit. We truly believe that age is not only not an impediment but can be a value of maturity and experience.

You can get a grant for other projects of Opus Lirica and its partners, a contract for a theatre or an agency, an opera studio etc. depending on the jury members who change every year. Adwards 2022

Final Jury

The final jury will be made up of personalities from the world of opera. Jury 2023

REPERTORY

It is not essential to sing zarzuela, it is possible to participate just with opera arias. On the other hand, a maximum of 1 zarzuela romanza may be presented.

WORKSHOPS & FEEDBACKS

After each ROUND, all singers will have the opportunity to participate to a workshop and get a personal feedback.
